KW Orthotics and Bracing is a privately owned foot orthotic and bracing clinic located in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Our staff is dedicated to professional, education-based patient care. Our patients range in age and activity level from the young basketball player to the elderly. We believe in promoting a healthy lifestyle and strive to help our clients maintain an active life whether they are an elite athlete, weekend warrior or simply enjoy walking pain free.

Our Team
Kylie Farmer C. Ped (C), BAHSc (Athletic Therapy)
Kylie is a graduate of the Pedorthic program at University of Western Ontario and holds an Honours Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Athletic Therapy. She is a Canadian Certified Pedorthist.
She is a member of the College of Pedorthics of Canada and the Pedorthic Association of Canada.
Kylie is currently serving her second term on the Board of Directors for the College of Pedorthics of Canada. She spent three years as the Exam Implementation Committee Co-Chairperson, two years as the Ethics Co-Chairperson and now services as the Vice Chairperson. She also serves as volunteer on the Professional Advisory Council for the Athletic Therapy program at Sheridan College. Kylie has previously been a proud member of the Member Services Committee for the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and the Executive for the KW Ladies Fastball League.
Through her education background and previous work experience, Kylie has gained an appreciation for the human body and it’s biomechanics. She has been practicing Pedorthics since 2011 and worked as an Athletic Therapist for ten years.
Kylie has worked with a variety of sport organizations and teams including the University of Toronto Men’s Varsity Rugby and Women’s Varsity Volleyball, Wrestling Canada, the Cambridge Minor Football Association and Special Olympics Ontario. As a Pedorthist, Kylie has worked with a multitude of patients including post-operative cases, active and non-active individual, special needs and paediatrics.
When she is not in the clinic, Kylie enjoys participating in a variety of activities such as long distance running, weight-lifting, fastball, hiking and spending time with her daughter.

Jane Cromwell C. Ped (C)
We are thrilled to announce that Jane Cromwell from Foot By Foot has joined the team at KW Orthotics and Bracing. Jane, a Canadian Certified Pedorthist with an extensive and distinguished career, brings over three decades of experience and a passion for exceptional patient care, making her a fantastic addition to our practice.
Jane began her career in pedorthics in 1993 and quickly became known for her comprehensive skills and unwavering commitment to patient care. Over the years, she has treated a wide range of foot and ankle conditions and sports injuries, but her passion truly lies in helping those with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Diabetes.
At KW Orthotics and Bracing, we are proud to carry forward Jane's legacy of patient-centered care. Jane's approach has always been built on a foundation of quality care, open communication, and patient education — values that align perfectly with the service we strive to provide every day. Whether you are managing a chronic condition, recovering from an injury, or in need of personalized footwear, you can continue to expect the same high level of expertise and compassionate care that Jane has always offered.
Jane's contributions to the field of pedorthics extend beyond patient care. She has been a mentor to many students, serving as a practicum site supervisor for the University of Western Ontario's Diploma of Pedorthics program. Jane has also been an active member of the College of Pedorthics Ethics and Complaints and Disciplinary Committees, as well as a long-time member of both the Pedorthic Association of Canada and the College of Pedorthics of Canada.
